Meet the Author

Detroit area resident, Bob Moats, has been writing short stories and plays for as long as he can remember. He has lost most of his original stories, typed or handwritten, in the numerous moves he has made from his hometown of Fraser, Michigan to Northern Michigan, to Las Vegas and back to Fraser, where he now Resides. He also wrote the short fantasy novella "Crystal Prison of Kyr" and is a published playwright with his three act comedy "Happily Ever After".

Moats became one of the causalities of unemployment early in 2009, and had time on his hands to finally pursue a life long dream of writing a full blown crime novel. Thus was born the first book, "Classmate Murders".

What followed was a series of 20 books starting with "The Classmate Murders" which introduces the main character, Jim Richards

    Great series

I continue to read Bib Moats series. Very easy to read. His books don't have explicit sex, detailed violence yet if you want to just plain enjoy reading, thus is for you

    Mr. Moats does it again!

I'm working my way through the Jim Richard's books. Even though there seems to be a lack of editing, LOVE them all! Comparable to Stephanie Plum reads. THANK YOU, Bob Moats, for a great series!

A good, easy read. As with the first three in the series, it's pretty easy to figure out who done it. A much better job of editing on this one than the Dominatrix Murders but still some errors. Overall, an enjoyable series.

    A Good Read

Story is entertaining, but book and all of these in the series missed proofreading. Both spelling and grammar are lacking, i.e., for you and I. Enjoy the books though.

    4th book in series

All in series are good and very hard to put down. So far this one has been my least favorite but still good.

    Meh

This book was okay. It's enjoyable enough, though the character can be politically incorrect at times.
