    Creative!

When I glanced through this book, I saw so many great creative ideas. I am a scrapbooker and sometimes I need inspiration, and well, I couldn't leave the store without it! I couldn't wait to get home and finish reading it and looking at all the ideas. My creative juices started flowing! I would recommend for any media artist.

    Enjoyed this book

This book is great for beginners and intermediate book alterers. There are descriptions of the tools and procedures to use for each project. There are a couple of unusual items like a clock, a book turned into a compact (with mirror), wall hangings made out of books, doll books, and even some cloth book versions. My favorite is a childs's book with each page carved out for placement of beads and wire. You will find a couple of very strange projects: plastic (ananomy) dolls with books in their torsos and a book sandwich.

There is a nice section on collaborations with some suggestions on selecting team members and projects for the collaboration (even a collaboration with your children). I hope you enjoy this book as much as I have. It has a place in my permanent library.
