Meet the Author

Dr. Iosif I. Androulidakis has an active presence in the ICT security field, having authored more than 50 papers and presentedover 100 talks and lecturesat international conferences and seminars in 19 countries. Holding a Ph.D. in Electronics, his research interests focus on security issues in PBXs (private telephony exchanges) where he holds 18 years of experience, as well as in mobile phones and embedded systems. Part of his research has led to the granting of2 patents. During his career, he collaborated with Telecom Operators, National Police Cybercrime departments, the European Police Academy (CEPOL), the European Public Law Center, universities and research centers, vocational training institutes, the media and private security consulting firms. Mr. Androulidakis is also a member of IEEE (Technical Committee on Security & Privacy) and ACM (Special Interest Group on Security Audit & Control). Finally, he is a certified ISO9001:2000 (Quality Management System) and ISO27001:2005 (Information Security Management System) auditor and consultant.
