this book's artwork is great, everything is really detailed, and it's a great read. all the characters have unique personalities but there are alot of twists in the story. The series is a total of 10 books, and well it's not really a action series. so be patient. read the whole series, trust me it's more than ordinaryWas this review helpful? First off, I myself own volumes 1-6 of this series, and I'm looking forward to getting the next volume. (For those of you student manga readers like me, you know how hard it is to get the money to pay for all the manga you need just to end a series, especially sense alot of the best series run over 18 volumes) I do enjoy this series, but it moves slower then I like, taking forever to tell you anything about anything. It could have been compacted into half as many volumes as it is, and that annoys me. In some of the volumes nearly nothing happens, and it strikes a nerve when I'm paying ten dollars for each one. It's a great series though (even if it does make you want to hang yourself to make the questions stop) and if you like vampires it'sa must have. (As long as it isn't the badass blood shed kind, you'll find no action from the fanged, ultra femme Micheal) But if you expect alot of bang for your manga buck, and have a low budget I suggest you wait til you have some cash to blow. Because it moves a little too slow with too little revelation as to the characters origins or even the plot! So again, if you've got the cash, go for it! But if your running a tight manga budget like I am, you may wanna go for a more exciting series. Luckily, the series is only 8 volumes long, so for those of you who are collecting LONG series such as 'Fushigi Yuugi', or 'Inuyasha' it'll be a great repreave because you can pick up most of the series relatively quickly. The art is never lacking. Hope you've got the cash or the patience for this sometimes boring, other times annoyingly confuseing series. It always leaves more questions than answers, so be ready for some frustration if you don't pick up multiple volumes at once! Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
