    Check the locations

While I appreciate the quality of the photography, the design and the readability of the book, there is at least one noticeable error. One has to only google Wainwright Building to know it is not as stated in the book in Chicago, but in downtown St. Louis, Missouri, USA. As a resident of the St. Louis area, I frequently walk and drive by the building, and have visited it on several occasions. I continue to admire and appreciate Sullivan's beautiful building.

    A New Perspective on Architecture

Modern Architecture is an excellent sampling of some of the most prominent modern architecture built. Highlighting diffrent aspects of each building with the use of the cutout is an ingeniuos and effective way to draw attention to the amazing details put into these buildings. In addition to the architectural details of the building, it also tells the history and back story of each selected building. Overall, a very informative and beautiful book.
