Highly Recommended for those interested in Buddhism

Great book about Buddhism in modern times, an amazing overview about the complete Buddhist path, way of living and meditation practice of Sutra and Tantra.
Written in modern language and therefore accessible to Western people.
A joy to read and study.
Suitable for beginners as well as advanced practitioners.

    Extraordinary

I highly recommend this precious gem. Buddha's teachings are explained very clearly and with a focus on helping us apply this wisdom in our daily lives. There are many points to contemplate both in formal meditation practice and throughout our day - I would say that the "modern" part of Modern Buddhism is how easy it is to incorporate Buddha's advice into work and family life in practical ways.

    Loved 2/3rd

The first 2/3rd were enjoyable and a good intro to Buddhism. However the final 1/3rd was really more aimed at advanced practioners.
