This new book is an important addition to the library of anyone interested in 20th century fine art. Much of the original documentation on the international artists who were drawn to Paris in the first half of the century is in other languages. So the fact that this is an English-language book but focuses on artists from so many countries is especially helpful. Many of the artists had been overlooked until this book and many of them produced bodies of work that's just amazing. It has good, detailed biographies and wonderful color illustrations. It leaves no doubt about the powerful, transcending, global influence Paris had on the art of the 20th Century. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
