I hate to read...but i fell in love with this book!

I hate to read, but this book is so captivating. It was reccomended to me by my rabbi, and I just can't put it down. It is one of those books that every Jewish girl can relate to. It made me feel like I am not the only one who thinks like this, or my family is just as disfunctional, or my bubbe does the darndest things too! This book is truly a guide for all modern jewish girls. I carry it around in my purse daily...every girl who comes of age should read this book. Life will seem so much more normal! It made me cry and laugh...sometimes at the same time!

Riveting. Funny, Smart look at being Jewish and Female

This is perfect for book groups. The essays cover so much ground about all the varities of Jewish women's experiences and what is wonderful and what is not. I found it to be a riveting read.
