    Energy Medicine ¿ Ph.D.¿s Perspective

An autobiography, Pert a Neuroscientist weaves the trials and triumphs of the life of the research scientist in pursuit of the connection of emotions to the health of the physical body/ whole person, the biochemical link that irrefutable demonstrates the connection and impact emotions have on the physiology of the human body. As she takes the reader through the understanding of ¿receptor sites¿ and chemical reactions in the body linking to the emotional signals, she also clearly illustrates the ¿dog eat dog¿ mentality of the world of research in it¿s rush to and ¿live and die by attitude¿ of the rush to publish.
