Moment of Extinction

3.4 5
by Paul R. Hardy

The last survivors of a doomed world have been rescued and taken to safety in another universe, but they’re still dying out. All their rescuers can do is take them to see the ocean one last time – and try to persuade them to let their last child survive.

This is a prequel to my novel The Last Man on Earth Club (but both can be read separately).

A interesting short on the final members of a species dying off, where they go and how they feel. All leading up to another book that goes into the people that handle dying civilizations.

Interesting storyline. Good characters. Great read. I will look for other tales by this author.

Confusing short story. There was no explanation of the race of people, why they were dying or their culture. Author write in Afterword that this is a prequel to 'The Last Man On Earth Club'. 25 pages.
