Moments of Clarityby Michele Cameron
Sasha Diamond, fresh out of a relationship with a cheating boyfriend, is ready to give up on love when she meets Sexton, an NBA star. Although she is immediately attracted to the handsome athlete, she is haunted by her doubts about men . . . doubts that are reinforced when her best friend, Tiara, finds out that her own husband has been frequenting prostitutes. Sexton persists, eventually wearing down Sasha's resistance, but then she's confronted with seemingly incontrovertible evidence that he's betrayed her. Now Sasha must choose between trusting Sexton or giving him up for good.

I first met the main character Sasha in this novel as the sister of in Never Say Never. Moments of clarity... is her story. I've never found a novel that is as compelling as a family sequel that but this novel does it. In it you see what's going on with Desiree, and Tyler. This novel handles jealousy, adultery, disappointment in love, and how no matter what your roots are how far you can go. moments of Clarity should be made into a movie because it is so realistic all races of women in the new millenium can RELATE to the story. The literary magazine Romantic Times and romanceincolor , rawsistaz, gave it four stars. affaire de couer magazine gave it 5 stars
A year prior, Sexton Johnson, a NBA player, and Sasha Diamond, a nurse, crossed paths. While he immediately showed interest, Sasha was already involved and preferred monogamy. An early morning fight and a bout with differences seems to be the key that unlocks Pandora's Box. Could this be a silver lining? MOMENTS OF CLARITY is a fiery romance dripping with distrust and treachery. I enjoyed the characters and the story had a good flow. A great read. Reviewed by: Carmen 4.5
To me this story was funny. Not in the sense that it was used for my comic relief but, in the sense that some scenarios, and situations were so realistically Bizarre that it could bring out a few chuckles. When Sasha meets Sexton she's in the "Tail-End" of a relationship she knows is bad but wont admit it. Just like any time you hold on a burger when prime rib is pretty much offered to you on a silver platter, that Burger lets you down. When this Happens Sasha's Prime Rib Sexton hadn't gone to far and was more then ready and willing to make that offer again. Then The Green eyed monster is awakened when Sasha's best friend Tiara Marriage falls apart and she starts acting a plum fool endangering everything she has Built with Sexton.. This is a great story about Love, Sacrifices, and Choices. Sasha Made The Right Choice between The Burger and Prime Rib but What Happens When The Prime Rib and Bestfriend go head to head for her attention?
For fans of the genre of African American romantic fiction, I can highly recommend this book. I first met the heroine Sasha in the preceding book Never say Never and I immediately connected with her spirit and independence. The hero Sexton, was also introduced in the first book but we got to know him in Moments of Clarity. I admired Ms. Cameron's portrayal of a young Black man who overcame obstacles to become an NBA player and a decent human being. The tension that developed between Sasha and her friend Tiara also resonates as unfortunately women can become more competitive than supportive. The ending was happy which is the expectation of the romance reder. Many thanks!
Awesome Novel. Finally something that I can relate to. Sasha Diamond who I fell in love with in Cameron's fist novel is the main character. She has a VERY rude awakening to a man he thought she knew and then fell in love with the RIGHT man. Cameron has a way of making me feel as if she knows what problems women have gone through and is makiing them feel better about the mistakes they've made. The sex is sizzling hot and it happens just at the right time. She's a newomer on the scene, and I'll be sure to look for her any future books that she'll write.
The character Sasha Diamond from Never Say Never is the main character of this novel. Ms. Cameron deftly handles a different set of social poblems that beseige couples today. Infidelity, the hurt of having to let go long time personal friendships, and the adoption/fostercare system in America. The sex is sizzling as it shows how one goes to different levels of intimacy when they finally reach their love of a lifetime.
