More About This Textbook

Overview

You've just gotten out of school and you're trying to figure out what to do. Get a job right away? Or move back in with your parents and relax for a while? Get married? Or go back to school? These are questions lots of young people ask themselves. This book offers one coherent answer: Financial and educational institutions encourage young people to think like borrowers. Stop! Think like an investor. This is the best time you'll ever have to work hard, save money and get ahead of the debt cycles that consume many lives. The modern economy means you're on your own for things like benefits and retirement-so don't waste time expecting your life to be like some old movie or sit-com. You're going to have to work hard and smart. This book shows you how. Don't settle for condescending happy talk from TV "personalities" old enough to be your mother. Here's real-world advice from someone your age.

    A reviewer

Money and Life was the perfect follow-up to Michael Stahl's first book, Early to Rise. The latest book concentrates on how to treat money as a young adult in their 20's or 30's, but it really could be a great, entertaining guide for any age. He gives great tips about where to invest, where to put money for retirement, how to budget and save on any salary. It was interesting and funny the whole way through. Keep them coming Mr. Stahl!
