Meet the Author

Kimberly Smith celebrates the idea that a parent is a child's first and most influential teacher who possesses the gift to spark a child's life-long passion to read at an early age.

Miss Kimberly graduated cum laude with a B.A. in English and a Minor in Education from Washington and Jefferson College and taught high school English until the birth of her first child. When she returned to education, Miss Kimberly chose a different route, as her enjoyment and connection to younger children led her into the field of early childhood education. She has taught at the preschool level for the last several years.

Parents, teachers, child care providers...my kids absolutely fell in love with this book. They can't put it down. Finally a book that is so much fun but actually is a learning aid too. Kids enjoy and don't even realize they are being "taught" in the process. Can't wait for the next book !
Thank you Miss Kimberly for your keen knowledge of what a child truly enjoys while still getting something beneficial in the process.
