    Lovin' it!

This book is really helpful! You can learn to draw the examples or use the examples they give you to build characters. I use a lot of the monster book of manga series for pose ideas! I would not recommend to beginniners though because they don't really cover the basics

    Great drawing book

This book has so much to learn in it. The pictures show you several levels to help you build it up and learn to acutally draw it right. The final color images of each picture are top notch and the book is full of tips. There is also a great tutorial at the end of the book for the digital artist. A must have!

    Really Good

This book helped me to create better drawings and overall give me better ideas. It is a great companion to any advid manga drawer, except for a few ecchi parts (I wouldn't suggest this to anyone under 16). For as big a book it is, it is a great deal too!

    Lovely Book

Unlike most "How To Draw" books, this isn't restricting with what to draw. Though I wouldn't recommend it to someone who's new to the manga world, it's good for someone who wants to learn form and shading. It could probably do with a little more detailed instructions, but that's just my opinion. All in all, it's a good book, and a lot better than others that I've seen.

    Iffy

This book is great if you're pretty good at drawing already, but the steps aren't that detailed, I didn't really like that

How to read a How-To book.

There are fewer things more irritating than buying a book you think will help you become the next hot thing, only to realize that, just like every other how to book you've bought before, you'll actually be required to practice and apply some part of yourself. The remedy to this ailment is to understand that there is no magic cure to being a great artist-or anything for that matter. Joso and Casaus have a great product that sets out various genres of music, fantasy and the like, wrap characters in fitting garb, and plant a seed for the next big adventure. The trouble with these books are that upon first glance, it appears that the characters are finalized and there's nothing more to add. What these books really aim for can be lost on most, and that is that what's inside is a stepping stone-an example. The images may seem out of your league to create, but at one time the artist felt that way as well.
Using the given lessons, the artist is expected to change things, distort features and apply a personal experience to the characters. Draw what you know. This could be more clearly emphasized as it is in some other variations of this topic. It does, however, explain the mindset behind the styles each character wears, with clean colors and a finish that's not too far out of anyone's reach.
If you have a similar book in your library already, then look for this one at your local Library-along with newer spin-offs for specific genres. Mine was a gift from a good friend, and I've gone over it several times. Again, the trick is to have fun and experiment, not be chained to what the artist has already done.

    good

the book was good. The artwork was really good and detailed, but the way they tell you how to draw is not good or detailed enough. There's not enough information about the drawing steps or a detailed description, but the drawings are good.

This is just a fine book

This book is okay. However it does not show you how to draw your own manga. In a other words you need to know the basics of manga drawing. The things this book does show you how to draw is just fine though.
