Note: if you rp multiple characters, one must be a human.
Griffin
They are lions with eagle wings. They have lion tails ad eagle heads, lion hind paws and eagle front claws.
They can fly and have a strong bite. They can pick up things with their front claws.
They prefer mountain habbitats or higher ground.
Electronical Beast
They have scales that are jagged and pointy, and necks that stretch very far up. They have 20 writhing tougnes inside their mouth, but the tougnes are acually their esoughogus. The tougnes have teeth on the inside, it has a beak. It looks like a giant lizard.
They have static tougnes, and when they rub the tougnes together, it creates a giant ball of electricity, then they bite an enemy and it goes unconscious. They suck blood, because there is nothing else that fits through a finger-wide esoughogus (or 20, for that matter). It laches on with leach-like tougnes and sucks til your dry.
They prefer warmer places, but other than that, they are very hearty.
Squirlist
They are miniature t-rexes with brown fur on them, and squirly claws, they also have squirl tails and stand at about 5 feet.
It can send waves of emotion to make you overly depressed, but other than that it's powerless.
They live in wooded areas.
Sphinx
They have the body of a lion and the head of a man, yet their teeth and hair is of lion. They are extraordinarily large.
They can burn the ground and shoot fire from the tail.
They only like warm, sandy places.
Caterast
They are cats with wings and can come in any natural color. They have claws that grow to a feet long, and don't grow much more than the size of a kitten! They have long tails with giant fans at the end, which they use as a rudder.
They fly and can kill instantly with those claws, making a bloody violent seen. They have giant wings that are attatched to the end of their tail and their wings are ten times their size, they are born in the sky.
They spend their entire life in the sky, never resting the constant flying. They sleep with their wings open!
Ice-Owl
They are white with icicles that dangle from their feathers.
They can shoot out ice from their mind, and they have a natural ice armor.
They live in cold places.
Continued at next res!

Great pulp fun from the master. Picture Frankenstein mixed with Tarzan...that is the bizarre concoction that is THE MONSTER MEN. The best thing about reading this over most of ERB novels is that you only need to read one and not feel committed to a series. Those who know Tarzan and his Mars series and would rather avoid those because they feel they already know the story but want to try ERB would do well to read this. ERB's style is in as good a form as it is in those series, so go ahead and spend four hours reading this to see what a good pulp really is if you have never tried one!
