Meet the Author

I've been writing since I could hold a crayon, and reading nearly as long. I love books, especially spec fic, and write inside my head constantly. Some of that makes it to the page.

Other than writing, I love hockey, beer, zombie movies, the Whedonverse, Doctor Who, and being the keeper of archaic words nobody uses anymore and all obscure character actor knowledge.

I share my life with my five kids, 3 dogs, 2 cats, and my sweetie, who in "high concept" is best described as a cross between a young Donald Sutherland and Peter Forsberg.

Along with the first two installments of the Maddie Pryce Hollywood Mystery Series, Darker By Degree and Director's Cut, I'm the author of several short stories and the upcoming novels Running Red, Dead of Winter, and A Willingness of Witches.

Excellant use of words to provoke the senses and develop the scene. This is the monster we all learn of but don't want to acknowledge. So sad. Unfortunatly the story is shorter than the space alloted for reviews of other works, making this a poor choice for my NOOK. The story deserves a 5, but the extra stuff lowers the overall rating.
