A Good Guide for the Beginning Gardener Who Wishes to Improve Results

This book is a great guide for beginning gardeners who wishes to improve their skills. It provides basic information for growing and maintaining not only your garden but your lawn as well. The material is presented in an easy to follow manner. Information is included about basic gardening tricks such as how and when to store bulbs for the winter, proper care and maintenance of rose bushes, and selecting plants for your garden. Although the material is laid out by type of plant first and then by month, the book could benefit by adding an appendix summarizing the chores in a to do list for each month.
