A Month of Summer is a truly great read that deals with deep issues (aging, divorce, family problems, relationships) in a tender and inspiring way. I grew to love the characters and the book was one of those that I didn't want to put down. It took me on a journey, and the journey was good all the way. Lisa Wingate is a terrific writer!

Wow, talk about not being able to put the book down! Lisa's book Tending Roses is my Absolute Favorite, but this is definetly my second favorite of all her books. I must confess that I am very affectionate of the elderly, so these two books touched on that topic so I am a bit biased. I have ALL her books in my personal library! Lisa's type of story telling draws you in so that you feel you totally are in tune with the characters like they are your family or even you!
