I got this guide when it first came out - and I paid a lot more than $10 for it. The Moon guides started out pretty good - as a nice alternative to the always outdated Lonely Planet guide to Thailand. Some of the writing was well done. Other parts were not. It was like many people wrote the book and a clear voice - one voice - doesn't establish itself. Suzanne Nam is a good writer, I've seen some of her other pieces - this isn't representative of what she can do. I'm not happy I bought it.
