Meet the Author

The story is old. The writer is new. Maureen McCabe makes her writing debut with "Moon Over Vaudeville."

Maureen has thirty-five years of varied business experience, including the creation of marketing materials and newsletters, to her credit. For over two years, she enjoyed researching her father's Vaudeville career and the resulting book is one that she looks forward to sharing with a wider audience. Maureen and her husband, Rich, now call scenic Bellingham, WA their home and enjoy walking by the ocean and through the local forests whenever they can.

"Moon Over Vaudeville" is a family story and includes memories from Maureen's mother, Patty O'Toole, who captured some of them in her autobiography she completed on her 80th birthday. Her sister, Sharon Cairney, was instrumental during the creative process with her encouragement and ideas.
