Moon Virginia Including Washington D.C. by Michaela Riva Gaaserud caught my attention due to the shared agreement between my husband and I to eventually permanently settle in Virginia regardless of whether we are employed in the private sector or the government sector. However, I’m going to avoid saying more about the timeline when this would happen out of consideration for first finalizing my plans with the people in my life (such as my husband, mother-in-law other concerned people in my life etc and practical considerations (giving at least 2-3 weeks notice to employers, time needed to plan the relocation ect). I like this book because it features various parts of Virginia such as the cities in northern Virginia; Arlington, Old Town Alexandria and the nearby areas, Fairfax county, Loudon county etc. Then there are other areas covered such as Williamsburg, Hampton Roads, Newport News, Virginia Beach etc. The Alexandria Film Festival(page 102), The Lighted Boat Parade (Page 181), and The Blue Ridge Parkway (page 294) are some of the multiple features discussed in Moon Virginia Including Washington D.C.Was this review helpful?
