Jack and Annie head to 18th-century Austria, where they must find and help a musician by the name of Mozart. Decked out in the craziest outfits they’ve ever worn—including a wig for Jack and a giant hoopskirt for Annie!—the two siblings search an entire palace to no avail. Their hunt is further hampered by the appearance of a mischievous little boy who is determined to follow them everywhere. I am a music teacher. This book was recommended to me by one of my piano students. I am now recommending it to all of my other piano students. It is a fun way for children to learn about Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart! I enjoyed reading it and I know that my students will enjoy it too!

We began reading the Magic Tree House Series when my son was a first grader. Now, he's finished third grade and continues to wait for the next Jack and Annie. This last one followed in the tradition of a good stories with a hook into a historical event or character. Since reading about Mozart in Jack and Annie, he has also learned more about the rest of his life and music.

Mary Pope Osborne never disappoints her readers. Using historical figures such as Mozart brings the past alive.

Another great adventure for Jack and Annie. My children read the Magic Tree House series since first grade and they love every single book. Good language, interesting facts, magic and adventure. A good book for grades 1-4, depending on reading ability.

Three of these books in the series were purchased for my niece and nephew. The books are absolutely a joy to read. They are also very informative and educational. The illustrations are most attractive to readers of all ages. Best of all, they encourage you to read from cover to cover. That is the best reason to choose this series!

You should read the book Moonlight on the Magic Flute by Mary Pope Osborne!  In it, Jack and Annie travel to a place where they’re not really welcomed. The book is lovely because when you’re done reading some of it you’re excited to read more of it. Jack has a magic flute. Annie has a magic voice in the story. When Wolfie gets in trouble, Jack and Annie HELP HIM! All the animals listen to them. Every thing works out fine. It’s exciting when Wolfie goes in the flower/zoo and trips and breaks the wire and it lets out the zoo animals. The characters were very interesting. I liked the way it was written. You should read this book.
