    Another disappointment!

This book along with 'Food, Fuel, Fitness' was, I had hoped, going to help me prepare meals for my husband, who is in renal failure. It, like the other, told me to soak everything in water before cooking. Just another disappoinment and waste of money.

    A much needed tool

As a renal patient, you are constantly told that you need meat protein, and in the next breath you are asked to limit your meat consumption because of too much phosphorus, and because of extra creatinine that will be generated from it. Yippy -- a book that shows you how to drastically reduce the amount of creatinine and phosphorus in meat. I have been able to eat more meat without increasing my creatinine value. Thank you! -- this book was LONG overdue!

    An easy self-help book

Self-help instructions and personal independence are important to me. As a renal patient, my creatinine and phosphorus were out of control. Using the simple 1, 2, 3 step instructions in this book helped me to positively effect my blood test each month.
