Meet the Author

Trish Ross and Jacquie Trafford both enjoyed successful careers before turning their attention to bean cooking. For nearly fifteen years they have studied and researched the world of beans from preparation and nutritional aspects, to exploring unique recipes from around the world. Their first book, Easy Beans first hit the market in 1994 and has been reprinted many times. They decided to publish a second book because people wanted even more recipes, ones to include an even greater variety of beans and a wider range of Ingredients. The authors named it More Easy Beans! Since then a 2nd edition of Easy Beans with nutritional analysis and 20 more new recipes has been printed. They have made bean cookery a healthy choice for today's busy cook.

This is a lively, fun and useful recipe and source book on all types of beans -- from kidney to adzuki. The recipes are straightforward and practical yet trendy and suitable for dinner parties and potlucks. I especially like the Spanish Chicken and the various Mexican appetizers. More Easy Beans also provides the reader with a wealth of information on bean preparation, availability, companions, varieties and nutrition. It is a great gift idea for vegetarian, health conscious and traditional cooks.
