Originally, More of Our Stupid Noise was a sampler designed to stir up interest in the Toronto-based Squirtgun records. Distributed only in Canada, the CD contianed a selection of unreleased tracks, demos, alternate takes and live versions from the likes of Eric's Trip, Versus, Hayden, HHead, Julie Doiron and, for some reason, the non-Canadian Lou Barlow. As with any sampler, some of the tracks fall flat, but there are more winners than losers here, and it's a good primer on Canadian alterna-rock in general and Squirtgun and Nettwerk Records specifically.
