    Do yourself a favor!!!

and buy this book and David Hough's first book, and I promise you will be a safer motorcyclist. I'm obsesed with living, so learning techniques and getting information that helps keep me alive is vital and it's what this book excels at. You won't find information that is only valuable on the track, but more importantly you will find information the is more valuable for the street. Whether you 18 or 80, whether you have ridden 6 months or 60 years, I promise you will learn something valuable from this book. But do yourself and favor and pick up his first book Proficient Motorcycling and read that first. More Proficient Motorcycling takes the basics you learn in his first book and goes into even more detail and even adds a few news things. Ohhh and David is a great writer. I have read a few motorcycle books and his are the most entertaining and well written of the bunch. Now only if I could log 750,000 miles on motorcycles...

    Worth the money

Even if you've been riding for over 40 years like I have been, you will still find something helpful in this book. Its also entertaining reading on those rainy days when your stuck under a bridge waiting for the rain to stop and the road to dry out a bit.
