Becca Collins is done being the bad girl. After quitting the band she played bass for, she's going to prove to her family that she's really changed.

When Becca's dumped by her boyfriend and fired from her job on Christmas Eve, all seems lost, until she runs into a former one night stand-Andrew. To impress her parents, Becca convinces him to pretend to be her perfect boyfriend for their holiday dinner.

After Andrew shows Becca he's all bad boy in the bedroom, neither wants to pretend anymore. But when Becca's invited to rejoin her band for a show and Andrew's forced to face his ex, they both wonder if they're ready to take a leap again-or if they're doomed to fail in life and love a second time.

Nice, light-hearted story. Read a little more like a novella, but still a great quick read.

Becca worked at a department store as a cashier. She changed herself drastically to make her parents happy. While at her register she sees a guy, Andy, she once had a brief fling with. This was an excellent story. I especially loved the twists and turns Becca and Andy went through to find happiness. I also loved the plot and story. I highly recommend. **I received an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review

My Thoughts: After enjoying my first taste of Elizabeth Briggs's writing, I knew I would need to read more. When I heard the next book in the Chasing the Dream series was going to feature Andrew and Becca (first met, for me anyway, in More Than Comics), I was very intrigued. The two of them shared a moment together months ago, and promised to get in touch again...but they never did. Then they meet again while Becca is working a horrible job on Christmas Eve, which she loses before the night is over. She's been trying to make her parents proud of her, and this, along with her boyfriend dumping her, is just going to make things worse. So she begs Andrew to help her out by pretending to be the boyfriend who dumped her. Given their past passion, it becomes hard to resist only pretending. But will they be able to handle it when their past returns? More Than Once is a romantic tale of learning what you truly want. Andrew isn't just another guy--he has emotions, and he cares a lot, which I really appreciated. And Becca is someone I can empathize with--wanting so much to do everything to make people happy, but never feeling like it's enough. The two of them together is a perfect combination. I must get my hands on the rest of this series! My Rating: Very Good

Becca is trying so hard to change. To be good, and to turn her life around. But at Christmas eve, she was dumped by her boyfriend and fired from her job. She couldn’t just come home to their family Christmas dinner a loser. Good thing, she came across Andrew West. Her one-night stand who ruined her for any another man. He agreed to pretend to be her boyfriend to save her from disappointing her family. Andrew West used to be the good guy. But girls doesn’t want good guys. After a rejected marriage proposal, he started over in a new city and promised himself not to risk his heart ever again. But he came across Becca once again, and his heart can be in jeopardy. Can he finally get over his ex and allow Becca to destroy the walls that surrounds his heart? Can they both risk their hearts for their happy-ever-after? The romance of the story wasn’t forced. It might started out differently, but the I-love-you’s came a little later. They didn’t dive right in because they knew they weren’t ready. They had to make sure, the past wasn’t a part of their future anymore. The wait was gruesome, and it hurts like hell at some points, but them getting together was worth it. It wasn’t just those sexy scenes that made me hooked in this novel and finished this one in one sitting. Although, this one is the hottest Chasing the Dream novel I read. It was the fact that this book was about second chances and redemption of the characters you didn’t think you could love but ended up stealing your hearts. This book is just in time for the holiday seasons and has enough steam to warm the cold nights.

*ARC in exchange for an honest review * 4 stars! I loved reading Becca & Andrews story. The words that Elizabeth Briggs has written, really made me feel throughout the whole book. I was hot, I was scared, I was angry, I was hurt, sad, excited, you name it. Briggs made me feel like I was a part of Becca and Andrew getting their second chance, not only together, but with their lives. I truly enjoyed More Than Once, and can't wait to catch up on the books in the series that I haven't read yet.

Great addition to this series! These two characters, seen in previous books, have not always been likeable... but now we get to see more into who they truly are. Glad to have Andy and Becca finally find a happily together after!

This is the first book I've read from this author but it won't be the last. I really enjoyed her writing style and the characters were edgy, real, and just a bit broken. Becca and Andrew are both trying to reinvent themselves after life events have them questioning their current paths. What they find is being true to yourself and hoping others will accept you is really the only way to be happy and that together they can let the good and bad part of themselves go. I really enjoyed this one and would definitely recommend it. Although it is apparently 4th in a series, I had no problem keeping up with the story.
