    Horrible

This is by far the worst book I have read in my life. I thought I was buying a book on proper etiquette. Several reasons why a lady should never go to Disneyland, ride a speedboat, or basically anything else fun and exciting wasn't really what I had in mind. This book does not have any useful information, unless you need 50 different ways to write sombody a letter. Honestly, you would be better off asking your mother or grandmother. This book is a rip off.

    Grrls Who Rock

I wish that the Etiquette Grrls were my big sisters. They're funny as all get-out, and offer loads of great advice. Some of it is basic, but name me an etiquette book that isn't loaded with basic advice. Besides, this is the stuff my generation (I'm in my 20s) really DOES need to be told, becuase we didn't learn it anywhere else. I don't understand the reviews for this and thier other book that say the EGs are rude and snobby--they couldn't be further from it! On the contrary, they always advocate doing the common-sensical thing, and most importantly, being kind to others. This second volume from the EGs offers yet more great advice from the Etiquette Gurus, such as letter-writing for all occasions, how to behave on a date, and--my favorite--a variety of films we all need to see to be a well-rounded individual. (This sections serves as a great lesson in film history as well.) Even with thier two books and their two websites, I just can't get enough! These grrls rock!

Volume two, no need to read.

This book has great value to many young people searching for a reference on proper style, taste and couth. However, as a fan of the first book, I advise saving your hard earned cash for a rainy day unless you have completely forgotten what the first book advised!

    GRRR...

I don't know, I did enjoy the book, it's humor, but honestly, the Etiquette Grrls do spend more time blathering on and on about Princeton, gin and tonics, Lilly Pulizter dresses and such than about etiquette. Even the Random Capitalization was fun and interesting at fist, but got VERY tiresome. It's hard to read almost all capitalized text. They sound like people who grew up in the 20th and 21st centuries, like the rest of us, but strive to make everyone wear dresses and suits on airplanes and behave like 19th century noblemen and women. Shunning IKEA and Bill Gates is just part of it. And on their list of literature, where are the other great Russian, French, Italian writers? Am I the only one who thinks the title itself is a tad rude?
