    favorite "go back to" cookbook

This is my second purchase of this book, my former copy hopelessly tattered and stained from years of use. Practical, every day cooking, adaptable recipies for every day, using "what do I have in the cupboard?" ingredients.

    Worthy Buy

I worked in a 3rd world country as a housemom to teenage boys and this cookbook was a HUGE help in the kitchen! It uses ingredients that are easy to find and gives plenty of ways to change the basic recipe so that the meals don't get old! This is a staple for kitchens world-wide!!!

great homestyle cooking on a budget

i love this cookbook. my copy is so old and stained and falling apart,
was time to get a new copy. the recipes are very easy to make and most of them are not the "gotta make a trip to the store i'm missing an ingredient", you'll find that you already have the stuff needed
to complete the recipe which of course makes it very budget friendly.
the casseroles, soups, breads ,desserts are all delicious family (kid &
husband pleasers). some of our favorites: Coating Mix for Oven-Fried Chicken (it's better than the boxed stuff and it's great for pork chops too),Basic Baked Beans (these can even go into crockpot with great results),Pizza Rice Casserole,Enchiladas,Meatball Soup. love this cookbook
so much that i've given it as gifts.

    Best Cookbook Ever

I grew up eating recipes out of this cookbook, and bought one for myself as soon as I got to college. It's perfect because all of the recipes are delicious, very easy to make, healthy and balanced, and they use ingredients you actually have on-hand (unlike many other 'health' cookbooks). If I could only own one cookbook, this would be it. I'm convinced that any age cook, with any level of experience, can use this book successfully. Simply put: buy this cookbook if you don't have it yet.

    This is a must have

This is the best cookbook I own. I grew up with it and now give it as a gift to friends when they get married. It's full of delicious, nutritious meals that always turn out.

If I could only keep one cook book, this is it!

This the best cook book I have ever owned! The kind of food that REAL people eat. I know that when I choose a dish from this book I will most likely have all the ingredents on hand. When so many of my cook books have only one or two recipes that I use, 'More-with-Less' is a cornicopia of great food.

    BEST GIFT

I was given this book for my wedding in 1977 by my nutrition teacher. It taught me how to cook on a very limited budget and healthy nutritious cooking. It should be given to every one starting out on their own. If I had to pick one cookbook to take whereever it would be this one

    Cooking and Simplicity

My family loves the More-with-Less Cookbook. The recipes are delicious and abundant, all with the mindset of utilizing what is available and living responsibly and joyfully. The chapters on Dried Beans and Preserving are especially helpful as they contain hard-to-find information.

    Most practical cookbook ever

WE've never yet found a dud recipe in this book, and I've used it so much it's fallen apart. It now lives in page protectors in a three ring binder. The recipes are delicious, practical, frugal, but tasty. The entire cookbook is a recipe for living simple but abundantly. A must for all those who want to live with contentment within their means.
