Huh, well I wasn't expecting that. So the structure for this is all over the place but at the same time you can kind of follow what's going on. You have a crazy school where the teachers take their jobs a little seriously. And 6 new kids find that something isn't right. Obviously.
So, of course I heard nothing about this except that it was a suggestion by well GoodReads of course. Again.
Anyway, I found a new series I'll be reading more from. No really, I'll try since I keep saying that and stop then continue later reading the series and all that. Stayed up late reading this, wanting to know how it'll lead up to the next volume.
It did not disappoint but left me with more questions, about the school, what the plan is for the 6 and of course wanting to know more about the characters.
The art I really like and is it just me or does Casey remind you of Erika Christen...anyone? Kind of reminds me of Heroes and as someone else said Lost-ish. Off to a great start this series.

Characters introduced and mysteries established. One of those rare books where the writer teases future mysteries and you have no doubt that he knows the solutions rather than making it up as he goes along. Can't wait for future volumes! Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.

While I love a good mystery sometimes it can be laid on a little too think. In Nick Spencer and Joe Eisma's Morning Glories, readers are thrown right into an ocean of mysteries. Its obvious we aren't supposed to know what's going on, and similar to the TV show Lost, it seems like that's supposed to be the appeal. While I'm interested, I don't know that I'm dying to jump back in. The art by Eisma is very good and he does a great job of distinguishing normal looking characters. Overall, there are too many things left up in the air for me to care about. Its good but far from great. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
