"I was so impressed with this book when I purchased it through the publisher, and I am so happy to see it is now going to be available throughout the world. I began to read this chapter-by-chapter to my Grandchildren, who became absolutely engaged by the characters and the story. After the second night of reading, I was so engrossed in the story that I continued to finish the book after the grandchildren went to bed! I had tears in my eyes and joy in my heart for the characters, who are portrayed so lifelike and in such rich detail, that you come to really "know" their journey and development. I also read excerpts of the book to my 3rd and 4th grade classes at school. They were so excited, and begged me to read more and tell them where they could buy and read the story in its entirety. A treasure for all ages and reading levels! I wish the author the best of luck!!"

I bought this book from the publisher, and I was able to purchase it prior to release. I got so engrossed while reading this to my children, that after they went to bed, I stayed up and finished!! I had tears in my eyes for Merlin...the author really creates a "world" that the reader becomes completely involved with...entertaining and meaningful from start to finish!!

Overview
Have you ever felt like you didn't quite belong? Merlin Buchwald was not good at farming like the rest of his family. No matter how hard he tried to fit in, he was good at one thing only: playing the violin. But how could Merlin tell his family that he could never be truly happy as a farmer? Annie Shaughnessy's Morning Glory and Music follows the young cricket on his search for a new life and happiness. Traveling far away from his home and family, Merlin faces great obstacles and is forced to look inside to find the will and strength to go on. Will Merlin truly find his place in the world? Find out in ...
