If you are planning on implementing a morning meeting in your classroom, this book is a great place to start. It provides information that can be adapted to all levels. Morning meetings may take a little time to plan, but pretty soon you'll gain confidence and take off. The kids love them and have much closer relationships already than they would have had without the meetings by the end of the year. Kriete's book has four parts to the morning meeting, and the kids look forward to ALL. Don't try to cut any out. They are all valuable.

I've recently been trained in RC and found this book extremely useful. It covers the main components of Morning Meeting and offers several greetings and activities in the appendix of the book. In my teaching I am finding Morning Meetings very enjoyable and it has filtered throughout my day. It's important to note that this book is not intended to be used for 'class' meetings when a problem arises, rather it is used to make every child matter and gives children something to look forward to everyday.
