I am taking a medical technology class to prepare for nursing classes. I find this dictionary very helpful in looking up terms when analyzing medical reports. This will serve as a useful tool in my studies.

I am so glad I bought this book. Even though it looks like a text book for health care personnel, it has vocabulary words in here that will help everyone learn new things and words to "impress your friends
and neighbors"!. It has great pictures/illustrations to help you understand the terms better. This is the newest version and I had to wait a month to get it-it WAS WELL WORTH THE WAIT! (I had to pre-order). I strongly recommend you check this excellent book out as soon as you can. You won't be disappointed!

I bought this dictionary to reference terms not found in many of my Respiratory Therapy textbooks. I use it quite frequently and am happy with my decision to purchase this one. It contains lots of color photos, and wonderful plates on human anatomy.

We couldn't be happier with this reference book. We use it to translate "doctor speak" into real English. An important addition to our home library.

Great value. I have several editions.
A suggestion would be to include a disc version to assist searching.

I previewed numerous dictionaries prior to purchasing this one. It was in Harvard's bookstore that I finally found the dictionary that suited my needs. It is truly superior to any I have used in the past or reviewed for professional use in my clinic.
