Editorial Reviews

From the Publisher
"From the outset this dictionary was appealing. The illustrations enhanced the explanations greatly and lead to a deeper understanding of meanings. Photographs also increase the reader’s knowledge and give real visualisations of what to expect from particular pathophysiologies. The appendices found in the dictionary are both comprehensive and extremely useful."

I believe this dictionary and Mosby's Medical Dictionary are the same! You're asking nearly $10 more because it says
"Medical, Nursing and Health Practices. I own both dictionary's, use they daily for classwork and I have yet to find a difference in the
material. I'm seriously considering returning it.

Excellent for everyone-not just health care people!

I am so glad I bought this book. Even though it looks like a text book for health care personnel, it has vocabulary words in here that will help everyone learn new things and words to "impress your friends
and neighbors"!. It has great pictures/illustrations to help you understand the terms better. This is the newest version and I had to wait a month to get it-it WAS WELL WORTH THE WAIT! (I had to pre-order). I strongly recommend you check this excellent book out as soon as you can. You won't be disappointed!
