This excellent summary reference includes a comprehensive illustrated review of important anatomy and related physiological principles. Where appropriate, the authors have developed summary tables of important physiological concepts such as cardiac electrical conductivity and renal filtration. This useful handbook serves as a reminder reference for students and practitioners who have already completed courses in anatomy and physiology and as a quick reference for individuals who must understand and investigate medical-related information using anatomy and physiology terminology.
The book contains predominantly color illustrations, with some black-and-white illustrations.

I have found this book to be a very helpful resource. It's hard to carry the actual Anatomy & Physiology textbook around with me, since I work in the city, but need to study and memorize for my exams. When I get the chance I glance at this handbook and get the information that I need. What's not in there during lecture, I would just jot down on the side and half it handy to carry around with me. Best for healthcare professionals or for those pursuing a career in the healthfield. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
