Bob Evans was born in 1938 in the city of Corpus Christi, Texas. During WW II his mother took the family to Guymon, Oklahoma while his father was overseas serving in the Navy. Here he developed a keen interest in religion and soon became the preacher's worst nightmare; thge little kid sitting on the front row loudly answering all the rhetorical questions asked during the sermon.
After the ware, the family resumed living in Corpus Christi and Bob graduated from W.B. Ray High School and Del Mar Jr. College. A twenty year career in the Submarine Service then followed. After retirement from the Navy, he earned a B.S. in Business and Public Administration. Bob then went on to complete a seventeen year career as an applications programmer for Frito-Lay. Retired in 2001, he spends his time doing that which he loves; service in the Church, genealogy, and writing historical/religious fiction.
Bob and his lovely wife Pat were married in 1962 and have three children and fourteen grandchildren.
