Overview

This book contains a collection of five paranormal short stories to entertain you. Under no circumstance should you presume that all the stories contained in this book are not TRUE. Some are, but don't let that daunt you, dismay you, or frighten you after all these stories are just someone else's story.

In the 'Ghost Train' a group of friends take a ride to the edge of oblivion and into the domain of Moloch. They find that a one way ticket can cost more than mere money and the devil is in the details.

Summer time and a nice family vacation to Ocracoke Island in North Carolina; what could go wrong? Shane couldn't believe his parents picked such a lame place to spend their yearly vacation, but before the week is out Shane learns the meaning of adventure when he finds Blackbeard's ring.

Have you ever heard someone say "I didn't beleive in ghost untill"? The Ghost in the Mirror slowly invaded the lives of everyone in the house. It's a chilling story of fear.

Every town has that HOUSE, that scary old weathered abandon place. It's the one that everyone whispers about and there is always a scary story attached to it. But are they true? Is it haunted? In Lucy's case, it sure was.

Flea Markets are great places to pick up cool collectables, antiques and treasures but one family picks up a little more than they bargained for when they bring home a large, old, wooden steering wheel from an ancient ship and the Ghost of a long dead Captain.

intriguing collection of haunted stories written by Charlotte Chaffin.

Reviewed by Rita V for Readers Favorite

Mostly True Ghost Stories: Chronicles of the Paranormal is an intriguing collection of haunted stories written by Charlotte Chaffin. This book contains five short, spooky and thrilling stories. "Ghost Train" is about five college kids who take a midnight train ride encountering strange happenings and unusual folks..or should I say ghostly folks! "Blackbeard's Ring" is a creepy tale about 15-year-old Shane and his family going to vacation at Ocraoke Island where Blackbeard's legend would truly come alive. Shane's hand sweeps the bottom of the ocean's floor and brings up Blackbeard's ring, but what will happen when he puts it onto his finger? "A Ghost in the Mirror" is a frightening tale about a woman who sees a frightening image of a ghost in her mirrors after renting a new home with her husband. But what she doesn't expect is that it starts following her through mirrors to where she works! "The Haunted House" is about two siblings who go to check out an old abandoned house. It is there that one of the siblings finds more than she bargains for and must find the courage to help out a ghost in need. "The Haunted Wheel" is a gripping story about a mysterious ship wheel found at a bargain store and the events that unfold after the family hangs the haunted item up in their home.

Everyone has a fascination for the paranormal and things we cannot explain rationally, and some of us have even witnessed paranormal events first-hand. This is a great collection of short stories written for older children, teens and adults. Each story is suspenseful, entertaining and fun to read. "Blackbeard's Ring" was my very favorite of the stories because I was clinging from word to word trying to find out what would happen next! It is truly a haunted tale with suspense and mystery until the very end. I absolutely loved the twists and the thrilling moments that had me on the edge of my seat. Charlotte Chaffin does not disappoint in this eerie novel and leaves so much up to the imagination. This collection of short stories is a perfect novel for older children on up to adults.

    A fun read!!

Five wonderfully told Ghost stories, some true.
Thrilled to see my sister finally published, yes Charlotte is one of my big sisters and also a fellow author.
I downloaded her ebook from Barnes and Noble, downloaded the free program from the site as well for Nook PC so now I can read all my favs on my laptop.
Am I going to be bias? Anyone who knows me will tell you I'm honest, blunt at times, and forthcoming, so if I like something I'm going to tell you, relative or not.
Do I think this is a wonderful read? Absolutely, I started reading it thinking I'd only read one story tonight then the rest later on, LOL, I read the entire ebook and just finished it about thirty minutes ago(at the time of this posting). I felt compelled to post a review while it was all still fresh in my brain!
The stories were great, descriptive and I could visualize each one as the story played out. I enjoyed the narrative and thought the entire thing was great.
I know my sister can write, I've been reading her stories for over thirty years and I'm just happy she finally published some of them.
I hope the readers enjoy Charlotte's ghost stories.
I think everyone, kids of all ages will enjoy these stories as well as adults. It'll get you thinking about that one time.....when you yourself might have had a spooky moment.
Pretty neat stuff and I can't wait to read the next ghostly adventure!
Highly Recommend, and not just because she's my sister.
The entire ebook was a fun read!!!
    Best wishes,
