About the Author

My name is Sarah. I am 26 and I live in Bedford, Virginia. I have been writing since I could write a grammatically correct sentence, but I didn't take it seriously until 5th grade. In 2012 during NaNoWriMo, I started the book that would make me a published author, whether it was in three years, or thirteen.

In June of 2013, my grandmother told my mother and myself to quit our jobs in Tennessee and move to Virginia to take care of her. She was diagnosed with ALS. She died in September. I decided to try my hand at selling short stories because I need to get my name out there for when I publish an actual book.

I mainly write realistic fiction, but I'd like to try my hand at other genres for short stories. I look at it as practice. If I like what I write, I'll put it out there. And hopefully, you will too.
