I was surprised by the two other ratings (other than mine@ 5-stars) being so low! This is a most excellent rag...Smart writing, the photography is very good and the editorial is always grand! Not bad for an american publication. Though, I must say this...perhaps the other low ratings of 'Motorcyclist' are from the Harley/cruiser crowd as This magazine is generally not to kind to the antiquities produced by..."the motor company". Though I will say that when it comes to long distance cruisers, H/D usually wins and wins big in this category. ( glad to know H/D can get something right...LOL ). Beyond that....a great magazine covering a wide range of bikes from all categories in a unbiased fashion...IMHO.

I finally decided to try a magazine subscription on my Nook HD+ and I have to say it's great. The two issues of Motorcyclist I've reveived so far have had compelling writing and stunning photography. The navagation features are simple and work well. I should have done this before.

The nook app for reading this magazine on the iPhone was gerat. Multiple ways to see the entire magazine, ads and all. But on my older b&w nook, navigation was poor, and simply reading text about different motorcycles just didn't cut it for me. Expect that the display and navigation of this magazine is better on the color nooks
