    Riding free in NC

I picked up this book and found that it provided everything I need to get to the trail and enjoy the experience while riding it. The author definately knew what he was talking about since everything he noted as eye popping came through in a BIG way. The maps are first rate and the mile markers are easily found. Falcon press has a good lay-out to these types of books with elevations and associated distance charts that allow you to pick the big rides. I can see why most of the book is devoted to Pisgah Natl. Forest - definitely worth any bikers time - with white knuckle rides everywhere!
