Meet the Author

Amy Poffenbarger is a freelance writer whose articles have appeared in Mountain Bike Magazine, Bicycle Retailer, Snow Country, American Bicyclist, and elsewhere. Mark Poffenbarger, Amy's husband and cycling companion, is a business owner and musician who has bicycled in Canada, Europe, and across the United States. Originally from Texas, the Poffenbargers relocated to the Pacific Northwest to be near the mountains, and today live and work in the Seattle area.

    Mountain Biking Washington - Beginners?

    It appears to be a good book for beginning mountain bike riders. I was hoping for more local rides, i.e. Kitsap and Jefferson county.
