Highly Recommended! A must read for teenage girls.

I began reading The Clique Series in middle school and I was obsessed! The only books I read were the latest Clique's. I was skeptical about the Alpha's series and how it would compare to The Clique. I was pleasantly surprised to enjoy the book so much. Alpha's was so good I didn't want to put down the book! In fact I kept reading until I was finished with Alpha's and Movers & Fakers. I was hooked. The character's are brilliant and entertaining in a unique original plot. I love how the book is narrated in different chapters by the various characters. Charlie is my favorite, her relationship with Darwin makes me gleam with excitement. When I read the last few pages of Movers & Fakers I felt in touch with her and as if I was feeling the same way she was. I was able to relate to her feelings toward a boy -- in her case Darwin. If you are a teenage girl who loves reading about first loves, friendships and betrayals then this series is right for you. In the book, there are different characters to fall in love with for every type of reader. Read this book please, I feel as if I know these characters so get to know them too it will be an excellent choice.

    more from this reviewer

    Dramatic as always

I have found the Alpha's series to be really interesting, more so than The Clique series that Lisi Harrison has penned. The characters all seem to have much more going on than the very two dimensional in her other books. What I really like is the fact that not only are the girls struggling to succeed at the Alpha Academy, they are also struggling with each other and against the woman behind the Academy, Shira. I was so happy to see some of the girls getting more confident and really working together to make things better, but I can only wonder if that is short lived. This is a great series if you like Ms. Harrison's work, and want to move into something with a little more bite to it.
