Editorial Reviews

Patricia White
Prickly, a risk-taker who drives her van way too fast, always too aware of what she is, Jess is not a likable character at the beginning of the book. But she grew on me and taught me much that I will remember. If one sentence can describe the theme of the book, it is: Disabled people are people with a problem, but they are, above all else, people first.
