I grew up with this series, and was so excited to see them for sale again that I bought one of each of the books they had for sale there! They are definately children's books, but there's a real story going on. There aren't just five words on each page. And all the stories are uplifting, have a happy ending, and encourage appropriate behaviors. I highly recommend each and every one of these books!

I remembered these from when I was little and bought some for my daughter, but she's only 1 year, so they're a bit over her head. We can look at the pictures and talk about colors and shapes and happy/sad faces, but that's about it. I'll hang on to them. Bring them out again in a few years. I'm guessing they'll be more interesting to her when she's 3 or 4 years old.

I read these books as a child and I am delighted that they sell them as my copies are old and worn. Mr. hargravees is a wonderfull writer .He really writes in a childs perspective.Very simple yet wonderfull stories. No books bring happier memories than these. My children ask me over and over to read these books to them. I enjoy reading them as much as they enjoy listening.
