Ryan Roberts is starting fresh in his hometown at his old middle school and finds Marti Temple, a fellow teacher whom he falls head over heels in love with. What he doesn't realize is that Ryan really isn't her type.
Marti Temple is living her dream life, teaching with her best friend for years Kat and sharing it with the one person in this world she wants to spend the rest of her life with. Sam Walken her girlfriend. Sam is medic helicopter pilot and has just returned home after a two year stint overseas. Both are over the moon to be able to start their lives together again. However, not everyone is as happy about their union as they should be and it might cost Marti her dream job of teaching.
