I thought this was the best 3-in-1 omni yet. I read all three at once because I couldn't put them down! The interplay between the characters is what makes this series so addicting. The stories are very simple in each one--although the whodunnit isn't always easy to figure out--but it is what's going on in the background that keeps the pages turning. Things like Barnes new shoes killing his poor feet every step of the way, the cook having to take care of her aunt and thus leaving the staff and Inspector Witherspoon to suffer some really awful awful trial and error meals, etc. As I write this review I can see where the series might sound silly and simplistic to the point of boredom to many, but it's not. Good mysteries, a touch of humor, some romance--great series. Highly recommend you give this series a try.
