Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Marilyn Courtot
Mud, lovely mud--the cow exclaims as she jumps in to roll about. The portly pig decides to join in the fun followed by the sassy white duck. Oh, this will never do! Mrs. Wishy-Washy is very distressed, and she soon dumps them one by one into a sudsy tub and scrubs until every speck of mud is gone. Content with her clean up, Mrs. Wishy-Washy walks away, and what do those animals do? They jump right back into the mud and resume playing. In kindergarden I took this book out of the library so many times that at the end of the year the teacher gave me this book! And I still have the book to this day and treasure it. And now I am giving this book the my 3, soon to be 4 toddler neices. This is fast becoming a family tradition! I can't wait to hear my neices read the story to me.
