Susan Nipp, co-author of the bestselling Wee Sing series, was inspired by the classic children's book, Make Way for Ducklings and wrote this delightful tal. The adventure of the moose and the mouse is beautifully illustrated with whimsical watercolors by award winning artist and author, Charles Reasoner. Situated on a mountain lake, the quaint town of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho is the setting for the book. The Mudgy Moose Trail, as depicted in the book, will be marked by five full size bronzes of the pair that traces their adventure, much the same as in Boston where a bronze commemorates the story of Make Way for Ducklings. The book and the bronze statues are the cornerstone of a public art project for children funded by a grant from the CDA Arts Commission with sales benefiting the Coeur d'Alene Public Library Foundation.
