This new and revised version of Jim Rigos’ highly-touted MPRE study text includes important updates which will be reflected on the November 2008 MPRE and beyond, such as the inclusion of the 2007 Judicial Model Code. A CD with a full course audio lecture is included with the book, and the popular "Make Your Own Exam" and "Magic Memory Outlines" from the first edition remain an important component. This book is replete with practice MPRE questions along with full answer explanations, and provides a thorough foundation for the substantive law needed to pass the MPRE.
Why your students will love Rigos:
• Client Relations – Competence and Scope of Representation.
• Client Relations – Confidentiality and Conflicts of Interest.
• Client Relations – Disqualification, Client Funds, and Withdrawal.
• Counselor, Advocate, and Third Party Dealings.
• Law Firms, Marketing, and Professional Integrity.
• Judiciary Ethics.
• Final Exam.

I did well on the MPRE, well above the score I needed, and I only used this book to study. I had Professional Responsibility 2 semesters before I took the exam and I didn't remember anything from the class.
The book was well organized and did not contain a lot of fluff.
My only real problem with this book is that the cd-rom is not compatible with mac. That's ridiculous and needs to be corrected. Being able to use the cd-rom would have made studying 100 times easier because it organizes the questions you get wrong and right and let's you review them. It's also just easier to take an exam on the computer.
Also, I didn't think the practice exam questions were close enough to the actual questions. I recommend looking at questions on the MPRE website or else you may be in for a shock.

Ok, this book is great, very helpful, etc. However, I ordered it from BN.com and the CD-rom to be included (as noted on the cover of the book) was not included. BN claims that none of their books in warehouse included the CD-rom so I've had to take it up with the publisher. I hope to receive it, but no news yet. Either way, buy it elsewhere so you actually get what you are supposed to be getting. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
