To make matters worse, right in the middle of his investigation involving the convoluted world of psychics, illegal gambling, and grand theft, his troubles are compounded when his old man is arrested for the murder of a back alley wino. In the midst of it all, Janice Coffman-Morrison, Tony's significant other, wants to talk marriage. Meet the Author

Kent Conwell grew up in the Texas Panhandle in the town of Wheeler, population 848. The West was an integral part of his life. The solitude of the Panhandle, which offered little more than school and work, encouraged his reading and writing as well as his exploration of the vastness of the rolling prairies, the emptiness of which carried the presentiment of mystery and death.

Murder Among Friends is Kent ’s thirteenth mystery and forty-sixth novel for Avalon. His previous mysteries, Galveston, Skeletons of the Atchafalaya, The Riddle of Mystery Inn, and Death in the Distillery, as well as his Westerns, Friday’s Station, Sidetrip to Sand Springs, The Alamo Trail, Blood Brothers, and Glitter of Gold are just a few that are available.
